Romans 8:29 “For from the very beginning God decided that those who came to Him – and He knew who would – should become like His Son”

Romans 8:28 “In all things God works for the good for those who love Him, who have been called according to His purposes”

Psalm 119:24 “Your statutes are my delights, they are my counselors”

Isaiah 55:8-9 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the LORD. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Our goal should be to become so familiar with his thoughts and his ways that over time his thoughts become our thoughts and his ways become our ways.

Romans 12:2 “Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will know what God wants you to do, and you will know how good and pleasing and perfect his will really is.”

3 Important Areas Where God’s ways are higher than ours:
1. Relationships
2. Finances
3. Physical Life

We need to learn to read the Bible and look for principles, which are unchangeable, timeless truths!

Biblical principles are found 3 different formats:
1. Stated
2. Implied
3. Illustrated

The more familiar we become with the principles of God’s word, the easier it becomes to discern the will of God.

The wisest thing that you can do is immerse yourself in this playbook – the Bible.
